ARTIST: STICKY TRICKY AND BANG
TAKEN FROM: SUPER EUROBEAT 157
BPM: 147
SONG LENGTH: 1:43
TO BE JUDGED: NO THANKS!

Is there much Eurobeat cheesier than this song? Almost certainly, but this is the one I'm using! :D The chorus of kids delivering the vocals plus the happy, bouncy synth line make this song one that you'll be bouncing along to in no time!

After already doing the song edit for this and most of the steps, I found out that HINOI TEAM also covered this song. If I switched to theirs I could add in a video, but since said video includes far too much of a fat man with no pants on who ruins the song by talking over it all the time, I decided against it. :) So it's the superior original you get!

STEP INFO...

BEGINNER - 1 footer, 123 Tap Steps / 0 Hold Steps

Arrows on every second beat for most of it, one on each measure in the slower parts, but also 3-4 consecutive beat steps on the same arrow when the chorus yells "1, 2, 3, 4" or something else the same way. Relatively difficult for beginner steps, I suppose, but still an automatic 1 due to the BPM as per Konami's rules.

LIGHT - 4 footer, 193 Tap Steps / 0 Hold Steps

Similar to Beginner in some ways, such as the consecutive arrows on the yelled vocals. However, Light mostly consists of streams of 4th notes, starting short but getting longer (especially from the verse onwards). This could be an either a hard 3 or easy 4, I went with 4.

STANDARD - 7 footer, 331 Tap Steps / 8 Hold Steps

These Standard steps I think have a nice flow - during the synth they follow the prominent notes without having to follow every one, and during the verse or chorus they follow the music using many short streams that switch between beginning on the beat and offbeat where appropriate. A few crossovers are also included, as well as freeze jumps on 'bang!' :)

HEAVY - 9 footer, 486 Tap Steps / 12 Hold Steps

I may have overdone it a little with the 16ths in this chart, but then Standard is available for people who find this too hard, so it's probably not a big deal. This is quite a difficult 9 by any means, as it follows basically every synth note during the hook and therefore includes a number of tricky 16th runs similar to some of DDR's harder Eurobeat songs. When you're not doing those, you're following 8th streams peppered with some gallops and jumps. Watch for the synchopated jumps on the second-last repetition of the chorus! These steps should be fun for those who can handle them, however.

Lyrics from Eurobeat Prime (www.eurobeat-prime.com/lyrics). I edited them slightly for inclusion in the LRC file but took their word for it on a few points (it still sounds more to me like "a dollar of candy" than "a dynamite candy", but they're the experts...)

Thanks to my dog, and to Dad for cooking me curry last night...
